Support for Entrepreneurs. 10 Key questions to ask yourself to create a successful and thriving business. As Life, Relationship, and Business Coaches, we have given guidance to many business owners and entrepreneurs over the past two decades.

Support for Entrepreneurs

Are you an entrepreneur? Do you aspire to be one? Do you own a business? Do you lead a team in Direct Sales or Network Marketing? Are you a sole-preneur or own a home-based business? By answering yes to at least one of these questions, you definitely want to read on!

Based on our interaction, experiences, and coaching with entrepreneurs, we formulated what we have found to be ten of the most important questions any entrepreneur wants to ask him or herself on a regular basis to create the results he or she desires.

These questions aren’t in any particular order. They are all important and relevant to ask yourself if you are seeking positive change, improved results, and a successful business.

Question 1: Where am I going with my life today? The answer to this question will give you a good indication of the direction your business is going. As a business owner, your personal and business life will always be intertwined. Are you okay with that?

Question 3: How do I define success as an entrepreneur? Success is a process, not a payoff. The price to pay for success is time, money, energy, and mental and physical action. As Life Coaches, Relationship Coaches and Business Coaches, we have witnessed entrepreneurs operating from fear: fear of failure, success, commitment or rejection. Success requires faith and focus on the end result.

Question 4: What are the telepathic messages or what is the vibe that I’m putting out there? Many entrepreneurs send mixed messages: e.g. ‘I am open for business but I don’t feel worthy so don’t give me the money,’ or e.g. ‘I am open for business but don’t call me because I don’t want to feel overwhelmed.’

This is the basis for how the Law of Attraction operates in our lives. When your talents can bring you money and you feel undeserving, you will sabotage your success.

Question 6: Do I only set goals, or do I set goals and achieve results? Achieving the results you want is far more important than being a goal-setter. To achieve results requires your willingness to change. If you have a poor self-image you cannot outperform it unless you are willing to change it.

Question 7: Do I have clear intentions? As Business Coaches, we ask entrepreneurs if they have a clear vision for their business, and most important, do they put service first above everything else, including the money.

Question 8: What is my relationship with money? We often discuss the clients’ relationship with money. If you live in fear, lack, and worry, you are blocking financial success. As entrepreneurs, we are all paid for the value we provide. Be willing to constantly expand, grow, unfold, and re-invent yourself as the CEO of your life and business. This doesn’t mean ‘better’ than you were yesterday; it means being and giving more of who you are to the world.

Support for EntrepreneursQuestion 9: Do I have gratitude for who I am and do I accept where I am right here and now? Gratitude and acceptance of what you have and what is in this moment are the two greatest catalysts for positive change. Understand that prosperity isn’t about the money. It is an experience, a way of feeling, thinking and being.

Question 10: Am I willing to adopt a new Permission Structure? As Coaches, we witness time and time again, clients who refuse to give themselves permission to succeed. Reinvent yourself by changing your permission structure. Give yourself permission to be successful, to be powerful, to thrive, and to flourish! The greatest power you can exert is the power of choice!

Take time going over these questions. Be willing to answer them with honesty! Know where you are today, so you can create positive changes for you, your life, and your business tomorrow!

  1. Mindset – it determines who we are and where we’ll go in life and business. Your points are very well made. My favorite author is Dr. Wayne Dyer. As simple as this quote may sound, it can sometimes be difficult to realize, but it’s so true: “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”

This is a great blog, because we tend to self-sabotage and it’s good to have reminders on a daily basis of what we are capable of as humans being as opposed to just humans doing. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Jane, Thanks for the positive feedback. Actually, Wayne Dyer’s quote is one of our favorites too! Be well, Chris and Jon
